Each day our teachers and staff work diligently to give our students a challenging and rewarding educational experience. We have high expectations for all of our students, and we want all of them to excel and Achieve More Every Day! We embrace the middle school philosophy, and we work to meet the unique needs (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive) of our young adolescents. In addition, we align our curriculum and instructional practices with the Pennsylvania Standards Aligned System (and the Pennsylvania Core Standards).
We are continuously trying to improve the quality of our middle grades program. Your input and support is important to us. We need our families and communities to be involved in the education of our students! Please encourage your child to work hard each day and to strive for excellence in all of his/her endeavors!
Bentworth Middle School is focused on improving student achievement! We use research based resources to develop and implement instructional methods that are developmentally appropriate for young adolescents. In addition, we use various forms of data (PSSA, PVAAS, Benchmark Assessments, etc.) to drive our decision-making. We want all of our students to be successful young adults!
